Driving lessons can start as early as 8am and finish as late as 8pm weekdays with Saturday mornings also being available. All driving lessons are tailored to suit your own learning style and requirements with each driving lesson being of two hours duration. One hour driving lessons are available where appropriate, but not offered during evenings and weekends.

The progress made on your driving lessons will be monitored using a Record of Progress which follows the DVSA training syllabus. Your lesson schedule will include at least one mock-test to DVSA standards (at no extra cost), with a motorway driving lesson being an optional extra (refer to Price List). The DVSA Training Syllabus covers the following subjects:

• Cockpit drill, safety checks and major controls
• Moving off and stopping safely (including emergency stop)
• Approaching and emerging from junctions
  (including crossroads and roundabouts)
• Pedestrian and Level crossings
• Planning and awareness in town/urban areas and on country roads
• Meeting traffic, overtaking and clearances
• Eco-safe driving, night time driving and all weather driving
• Reverse manoeuvres including bay parking,
  street parking, turning the car around and reversing into limited openings
• Independent Driving following a series of directions,
  road signs and using Sat Nav systems
• Optional Extra: Motorway Driving

In addition to the DVSA Training Syllabus, my objective is as always, to teach safe progressive driving in all road, traffic and weather conditions. Fully preparing you for independent driving and not just teaching you how to pass a test in the local area. After all, you won't be just driving the test routes all your life will you!
